While we were in California, we mostly enjoyed the warmer weather. We actually fit quite a bit into the week while still having enough time to sit and chill when we wanted to.
Within the week, we went to church, went bowling, visited the ocean, had a Wii tournament (John and I totally won! ;) lol.) had Thanksgiving dinner with some extended family, had a white elephant gift exchange (hello, plastic mace...), fed the ducks at a nearby lake, went to the park, ate lunch at In-N-Out to celebrate one of my cousin's birthdays, and did a little bit of black friday shopping and Christmas gift wrapping.
It was a great week and I already can't wait to go back! Especially since we missed our regular trip to the local ice cream parlor... Next time, I think I'll just have to bring some of their ice cream home with me and try really hard not to eat it all before we get it into our freezer. Those ten hour car rides can feel pretty long after all...
