Since Brooke's actual birthday hit during our Oregon trip, she kind of got two birthdays this year!
We still had cake and a few small presents on her actual birthday, but we also made sure to celebrate with more family when we got home from our trip.
I made her a crown cake that she got to help decorate and she opened her presents. Her favorite was definitely the play doctor kit she has been asking for for quite a while! When my parents called for suggestions, I knew exactly what to tell them!
Another year down and Brooke is still the girliest girl I know! She loves everything pink and princessy.
Being girly, however does not mean she's the calm child I was as a kid... She definitely has a lot of spunk and energy!
She can be sweet when she wants but she's still learning to tame her temper sometimes (aren't we all?!).
And now with her starting school and ballet, we're excited to see where life takes her in her brand new big girl world!
