I remember the first time I had honey butter...
Sounds like a strange thing to have such a strong memory about, but I do.
It was at Aspen Grove. (A place that is full of fond memories for John and I since we met there.) Part of the deal with working there is that meals and lodging are provided for you. As the summer goes on, you get pretty used to the same weekly schedule of meals. And one thing I always looked forward to was the biscuits and honey butter! Ok, ok... technically, it was biscuits and gravy. But I've never liked that meal... So instead, I would take my biscuits and eat them with honey butter instead. So much better!
Since then, I've only had honey butter a handful of other times and I'm always a little disappointed when it's not the creamy perfection I remember.
Well this recipe... is the creamy perfection I remember.
And with only two ingredients, it really is just honey - butter.
All you need to do to make this yummy spread is to combine 1/2 cup soft butter with 1/2 cup honey. If you want you can also whip the butter a little first to help them combine better.
And that's it. Super simple. Super quick. Super delicious.
You're welcome. 😉
