Brooke had a Birthday!

With the end of summer always comes one more thing to celebrate... Brooke's Birthday!

We mostly stuck around home for her birthday other than going to the park for lunch with John. After eating her birthday dinner (she chose spaghetti), we had cake and opened presents. 

This year, fitting to her extra girly personality, she asked for a barbie princess cake again and picked out which of her barbies she wanted in it. She also helped decorate it with sprinkles and edible glitter which was fun!

Something unique I did for her birthday this year was create a princess box subscription for her. Her brothers each got box subscriptions for their birthdays (partly in place of extracurriculars) and after looking up different options, I realized it would be cheaper if I made them myself. She loved her first one and I can't wait to give her the rest!

It has been great to see Brooke grow into the wonderful girl she is. She's still pretty spunky, but lately she's been showing such a nurturing and kind side to her younger brothers which has been so sweet to see! I think this year is going to be full of so much growth and fun for her!
