Aaron turned 6 this month and had a great birthday!
A few months ago he asked me if there were any monster truck shows in Utah and after looking it up, I found out there was one on his birthday. I told him this and he immediately ran to find John to tell him that he was going to a monster truck show for his birthday! At that point with how excited he was, we figured we had better make that happen. Haha!
Not only did John take Aaron, David, and Zack to the monster truck show, but we also invited Grandpa LeStarge and Aaron's cousin Charlie with his Dad, Tanner. They had a lot of fun and have been on a monster truck craze ever since.
After going to the monster truck show, we had Aaron's requested birthday dinner of ham and cheese party sliders with blue jello.
After dinner, we sang Happy Birthday to Aaron and had chocolate cake with mint chocolate icing and mint ice cream (Aaron's request).
I told Aaron that since he was going to the Monster Truck show for his birthday, there wouldn't be as many presents, but I couldn't resist getting him the Monster Jam game for the switch. It was the one present he was the most excited about.
Now that Aaron is 6, I asked him what the best part of being 6 was and he said, "That I still get to be in Kindergarten." I think he was worried that with the new year starting, he would have to go up to 1st grade and have full day school instead of half day! He was relieved to hear that he would have another few months of half day school. Haha!
As you can see in the Funny Kid Quotes post from 2024, Aaron has definitely hit that age where he has solidified his spot as the comic relief for the family. We'll see how long he holds that spot, but for now, he's going strong.
That being said, it was hard to find any photos that weren't silly. So, here you go.
Happy Birthday Kiddo!
