Gift in a Cup - Spring

Spring is here! I am so excited to be done with snow weather! I know some people love cracked, dry hands and throbbing frost-bitten noses, but I don't. lol. Okay, okay... I know that's not why most people love winter, but I can't get past the negatives long enough to give winter a real shot at being my favorite. I guess I'm just a spring and summer kind of person. Or maybe just the in between weeks when it's warm and sunny but not burning hot yet... So I guess I love summing... or sprummer... Not sure if either of those even sound acceptable, but I'm leaning more towards sprummer. Haha!

Anyway, a little while ago, I saw this cute cup at the store. And, since I'm always looking for random last minute gift items I can store in our closet (that has actually come in handy for lots of forgotten or unplanned parties...), I thought I could make a fun gift out of it.

The first thing that Spring makes me think of is flowers. So, I thought that it might be fun to put some seed packets in the cup! Along with that, I decided to add in a drink mix for herbal tea (my sister likes this kind!), and some lotion.

It turned out pretty cute and was really easy to put together!

Some other things you could put in a cup for a springtime gift would be a mini bouquet of flowers, some little Easter eggs with candy in them, a little jar of jam, chap stick, other gardening supplies, or some sort of spring scented soap. Sounds weird, but as a mom, scented soap is the best! lol.

Anyway, this whole thing gave me a ton of ideas on how I could do different variations of this! Which I will definitely be sharing later on... Hopefully they'll all turn out as cute as this one!
