We're pretty excited, but let me just say... This pregnancy hit me like a brick. I remember having moments of being tired with David and Brooke's pregnancies, but that was nothing like this time around. Actually, I think it's a little ironic because I was a full time student and working while I was pregnant with David and once again a full time student and student teaching while I was pregnant with Brooke, but for some reason I've been WAY more tired this time. Like, literally having days where I would get the kids and myself breakfast and then have to lay back down for 2 hours. Even little things during the day like taking David to the dentist have exhausted me! It seems to be getting a little better lately while I start the second trimester though. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
This time around, we don't really have a preference for having a boy or a girl. We didn't really with our other kids either, but since we have one of each already, we're even more fine with either one. :) Hopefully at my next appointment, we'll be able to find out the gender! The doctor gave me his best guess at my last appointment, but I don't want to ruin the surprise. Especially if it wasn't right anyway! Haha!
Well, for now, I'll be busy spending my time sleeping, eating whatever I feel like, and visiting the restroom way more often than I'd like to in a day... (Haha!) And definitely looking forward to January!
