Aaron turns single digits!

Up until this past Saturday, Aaron was technically 0 if you asked how old he was (in years of course, lol). And most of the time, we just say how many months old he is (like most parents do at this point).

Well, we can now say he's a year old and has quite a bit of experience under his little baby belt. Haha!

For his birthday this year, John and I got him a little baby walker and the kids got him a few toys they picked out. His favorite has been a toy train that the little tikes people can fit in. It makes 3 different sounds when you push the buttons but he hasn't quite figured that out enough to push them for himself yet.

For his birthday cake, I made him a snickerdoodle cake with cream cheese flavored buttercream icing. We haven't done smash cakes with our kids, but he did get a pretty big slice! By the time he was done, I noticed that all that was left was the icing on the outside and when Brooke was done, all she ate was the icing on the outside! Funny kids!

Aaron is such a cute, fun little boy. Right when we think he has maxed out the cuteness scale, he does something new to let us know that he can get even cuter! I know David and Brooke were cute babies too, but I think what makes Aaron even cuter is that he has older siblings to interact with so he behaves a little differently than they did. Overall, our kids have all been super cute in their own ways though, so it's hard to compare. I'm just excited to see Aaron get to learn to talk so we can all see even more of his fun personality.
