Unlikely House Cleaner

Remember when I was surprised by how well my white coat got cleaned? Well this month I was surprised again but how well an unexpected item in my house cleaned the walls. And it's something everyone definitely already has in their house... Or at least they should. And if you don't... we need to talk.

For the past three months, almost immediately after my in-laws helped paint our house, Brooke decided to create her own mural since we no longer had any pictures hanging on the walls. I finally decided to do something about it and pulled out a tube of toothpaste. One of David's friends randomly said that he would use toothpaste on his walls at home to clean and although I was skeptical at first, I decided to try it. And it worked like magic!

I literally just took an old toothbrush. squeezed toothpaste on it, and scrubbed the crayon on the walls and it disappeared almost instantly! After all the marks were gone, I took a damp washcloth to wash off the toothpaste and I was done!

And now I finally have another use for all those extra travel size toothpaste tubes we get every time we go to the dentist, since we don't really use them to travel with.

Aaaand after that comment, I'm starting to think we should travel more...
But if we are staying home, at least the walls are clean! Lol.
