Father's Day 2021

Father's Day has come and gone and hopefully it was ok for John...

He said it was great, but just like Mother's Day it was just a pretty chill day.

The kids were too excited when he woke up and asked him to open his presents right away! We got him a new game called Dwarven Smithy along with some of his favorite kinds of candy. John also needed to buy a table saw to help with remodeling the kitchen so he considered that one of his presents too.

Breakfast was cereal. I offered to make something special but believe it or not, John loves cereal! And he doesn't get to eat it too often since he usually just makes toast for breakfast at work.

We did make him his requested dinner though... pizza casserole! Yep. John's definitely a Utah boy. 😊

One fun thing he got to do with his dad and brothers though was to go mountain biking! John's brother Kevin was in town the next weekend so they all got to go together then. (Paying for a biking trip was our gift to John's dad this year and we shipped my dad some Guarana Antarctica.)

One fun thing was that David gave John a Father's Day card that he made himself. And just like in the past, he did not disappoint.

David has been watching Studio C lately so in his card he wrote, "Roses are red, Violets are blue, Both are useless, plant some wheat!" Hahaha! We love that silly kid.

Overall, John said it was a good Father's Day. And he deserves a good one! He is the best dad and husband I know. He has always been so supportive of me and a wonderful dad to our kids. We love our real life Superman so much!
