Zack's 1st Birthday!

We just had a birthday for our Little Zacky, AKA PteroZactyl, AKA Zacky Doodle! (That last one is Aaron's favorite name for him.)

Which means he survived his first year of being a fourth child! Haha! Sometimes I see the stuff he has to put up with as a fourth child and I just feel like "Good luck!" Things like, accidentally being bumped over by someone, occasionally being the baby doll in Brooke's games, and wanting to keep up with his older siblings but being too small still. And then I remember that I'm the fourth child in my family... and I think, never mind. He will be just fine! 😊

For Zack's birthday, I made funfetti cupcakes. David drew a little car topper for him and stuck it in his cupcake which was cute. Of course, he's too young to blow out the candle, so after trying to get him to do it, I had to quickly blow it out before he could grab it with his hand!

After cupcakes and his birthday dinner of pasta and peas he "opened" presents. We (pronounced "I", lol.) gave him a book (which he immediately threw on the ground), a toy remote control and toy car keys, a toy dog that walks and barks, some hot wheels, and a rockin' puppy. He has loved the remote control and cars, but the barking dog is his favorite! Although sometimes he "plays" with it by holding it by the tail and throwing it... Hence, we still don't have a real dog...

Our little Zack was the quickest of all our kids to walk (10 months instead of the typical 14 for the rest) and is already trying to steal the spoon to use when we feed him. He loves to talk with people, especially when he hears them on the phone, but can only say a short "ugh" along with a mama or dada when we're really lucky.

He already has two teeth on the top and two teeth on the bottom and loves to scrounge around for left out candy or "ugh" for whatever his siblings happen to be snacking on. He's also very cuddly (mommy's favorite thing) and giggly (daddy's favorite thing). It seems that in the future we have a lot of Aaron's jokes and Zack's laughter at them to look forward to.

Zack is such a fun kiddo to have in our family and I can't wait for him to talk more so we can see his personality even better!
