Of course the one I posted before was a quick cake mix sugar cookie recipe, but these ones are the real deal. The "I made this from scratch because I love you" kind. And the recipe also happens to be the one my Mom uses every year at Christmas time.
A little while back she was worried she lost it! Thankfully, she found the index card tucked away in the cookie cutter tin and the Christmas season was saved! Haha!
In reality, it would be terrible if she ever actually did lose it! So, with that in mind, here's another place to keep it where it should hopefully never get lost!
With how busy I was this year and how tired this pregnancy has made me, my mom actually made these cookies (Thanks Mom!) and the kids had a lot of fun helping her cut out, bake, and ice them! Really, they had a blast! I think they will remember making cookies with Grandma for a long time.
Also, since the kiddos made them with Grandma, they are earning the "Grandma's" title instead of "Mom's" title. I think that's fitting since she was in full on "Grandma-mode" while making them this year.
